One of the most popular is acrylic yarn. The main advantage of such a thread is that it is soft and hypoallergenic, that is, it is suitable for children from the first days of birth. Externally, acrylic is similar to wool, mainly due to the similar bulkiness of the yarn. It is suitable for any products and seasons. It is used to replace and supplement wool, as well as to lighten the weight of cotton and similar types of yarn. Acrylic yarn, due to its ability to retain heat, is sometimes called artificial wool.

Products should be washed by hand, at a temperature of 40C, with detergents without bleach, wring things out with light movements, do not twist them.

Dry acrylic in the same way as wool products: wrap in a dry cloth and wring out, then carefully lay out on a flat surface, giving the desired shape, dry at normal temperature with a dry sheet underneath.

Note:

33 is the length of a single thread, the weight of which is 1 g.

13 is the number of single threads twisted together.

The higher the number, the thinner and lighter the thread.
