Half-wool merino yarn consists of 50% merino wool and 50% PAN. Merinos are a breed of fine-fleece sheep. The softest wool, very hygroscopic, retains heat well. Merino threads are very elastic, which allows you to knit things from it that fit the figure. PAN is an artificial fiber that has the properties of wool. The combination of these fibers acquires the strength of synthetic fiber, hygroscopicity, and breathability of natural wool. The thread is medium soft to the touch, suitable for both hand and machine knitting. The density of twisting from two threads allows you to adjust the thickness of the thread using the method of knitting in several additions. When washed, products made from half-wool yarn do not shrink or deform. The colors do not lose their brightness, and the finished items look elegant and festive for a long time.
